Our Marathon Relay is a four person relay team with each person running/walking equal distances of 6.55 miles. The relay includes three divisions: all female, all male, and coed (must have at least one female). The relay exchange point for the 2nd and 4th leg is in Miller Park. Parking for the relay exchange is available at the Sacramento Marina until 7:40 am or after 9:30 am. If you do not arrive before 7:40 am, you will have to park outside the park near Broadway and Front St. and walk the ¼ mile to the exchange point. The relay exchange for the 2nd to 3rd leg is at the start/finish in William Land Park.

It will be up to you to find your relay partners in the exchange zones. Each team member must wear a bib number on the front of his/her shirt. Team members will exchange a red wristband at the exchange zones. Perhaps the most important instruction: The 4th and final team member only wears the ChampionChip timing transponder. If you cross the finish line without a timing chip, we will not have a recorded finish time for you or your relay team.

Finally, we highly recommend relay teams pick up their race packets ahead of time at Fleet Feet Sports so all team members do not have to show up early at William Land Park on race morning.
